Is the Starter plan really free forever?
Yes! The Starter plan is completely free for teams of up to 10 devices. You get full prompt inspection on ChatGPT and Claude, warn and block actions, 7-day data retention, and email support. No credit card required, no time limits.
How do upgrades work?
You can upgrade from Starter to Pro at any time from your dashboard. Your data and settings will be preserved. You'll only be charged for the remainder of your billing period on a prorated basis.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and bank transfers for annual Enterprise plans. Invoices are available for Enterprise customers.
Can I try Pro features before committing?
Absolutely! All plans include a 7-day free trial of Pro features when you sign up. You'll have access to advanced monitoring, custom policies, and priority support during the trial period.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You'll keep access for the rest of your current billing period. After that, your account moves to the free Starter plan, which retains data for 7 days. We recommend exporting any data you want to keep before you cancel. You can export your data at any time.
Do you offer discounts for annual plans or nonprofits?
If you're a nonprofit, educational institution, or looking at annual billing for a larger team, reach out and we'll talk through what makes sense. Contact our sales team to learn more.
Is ShadowWatch priced per device or per user?
Per user. A Pro seat covers unlimited devices for that user, so someone on both a work laptop and a desktop counts as one seat. The free Starter plan covers up to 10 devices total. Enterprise is custom, contact us for volume pricing.
How does ShadowWatch compare to DLP and DNS filters?
Traditional DLP and DNS filters operate on the network and the filesystem, not inside the browser. A prompt typed into ChatGPT or data pasted into Claude never becomes a file in transit or a blocked domain, so they can't see it.
